New mezzanine for CityKidz

Community Involvement

As a strong supporter of CityKidz, when we learned of the dire need for additional space to enable more kids to participate in the program, we agreed to build a mezzanine in their existing space as a team-based charity initiative.

Walters supplied materials and facilitated the architecture and design planning on a pro bono basis. Employee volunteers helped with fabrication in August. On Saturday, September 17th volunteer members from Ironworkers Locals 721 and 736 came together to install and erect the steel.

CityKidz is committed to improving the lives of children who are living in poverty. They provide youth with a safe, enjoyable space to develop life skills and build self-confidence.
