Calgary’s Tallest High-Rise Awarded to Walters

We are delighted to announce that Walters has been awarded the Brookfield Place Calgary high-rise project by EllisDon Construction.

This 60 storey tower will be slightly taller than The Bow tower in Calgary by 11 meters, making Brookfield Place Calgary the tallest building west of Toronto at 247m. This high-rise is expected to hold 1.2 million square feet of much needed premium office space within Calgary’s downtown core and will be erected where the old historical Calgary Herald building was once located.

Walters involvement on the project at site commences in January 2015 and is projected to be completed by Spring of 2016. The tower is expected to be fully completed and occupied by 2017. This will be Walters fifth major steel high-rise project in Canada within the last decade.

We are thrilled to be a part of such a magnificent project and look forward to delivering to the expectations of our valued clients.
