This was a fast-tracked project to expand the engine plant for Honda’s plant in Alliston. The building structure included multiple crane runways and the roof structure utilized a two-way Girder-Truss & Truss system for optimum clear spans in the plant.
Walters Inc. was the detailer, fabricator, and erector on this project. The schedule was extremely aggressive and we worked throughout the project to expedite any areas possible. We worked closely and proactively with the project team to ensure critical path mill materials were available in time, and to make cost-effective proposals where substitutions were needed.
