Easter Food Hunt for Hunger


During the month of March, Walters Group held an Easter Food Hunt for Hunger.

Walters Group generous employees collected a whopping 662 lbs. of food to support local food banks to help stock their shelves for the Easter weekend. We collected a huge assortment of non-perishable food and personal care items to help those in need.

Our Hamilton office, Hamilton plants and Stoney Creek plant collected 385 lbs of food in support of Neighbour to Neighbour. Walters Group Values in Action program matched with a donation of $400 to Neighbour to Neighbour.

Feature Walters and our Princeton Plant donated 277 lbs of food to the Brantford Food Bank. Walters Group Values in Action program matched with a donation of $300 to the Brantford Food Bank

About Neighbour to Neighbour Food Bank

Neighbour to Neighbour offers emergency food support in our food bank to 1,200 families (3,500 individuals) per month by providing 5 -7 days of essential food – fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy, bread and vital non-perishable items. For more information click HERE.

About Brantford Food Bank

The Brantford Food Bank offers an Emergency Food Bank Service to individuals and families in Brantford, Brant County and Six Nations. This includes low-income families, children, the elderly, abuse survivors and the homeless. We also provide a Food Distribution Service to 23 other food and meal providers in our community.
