Walters recently held our first ever Family Day, where we invited all of our employees out for a day of fun and food with colleagues from across the Walters organization.
The event was hosted and organized by the Walters Group Community Support Team and took place at our Princeton, ON plant. The Support Team is made up of a diverse group of employees across all departments that come together for the betterment of our community. They focus on raising awareness of community needs, promoting community involvement and raising funds for those in need.
Activities consisted of hay rides, BMX biking demonstrations, bouncy castles and face painting. A total of $1,750 was raised through food sales, raffle tickets, a dunk tank, and generous employee donations.
All proceeds will go to support City Kidz, an incredible organization that helps increase resiliency and inspires big dreams for Canadian children living in low-income communities.
