On September 29th, we opened our doors and welcomed Walters employees, friends and family to visit our new Headquarters. We were thrilled that the Mayor of Hamilton, Fred Eisenberger, and Councillors Tom Jackson and Lloyd Ferguson joined us for a ribbon cutting ceremony and a tour of our new Head Office.
“We want to be a city full of employment opportunities for people who want to live in Hamilton and move here. We want to make sure that we as a city, do everything possible to keep businesses that are already here, here for good,” shared Mayor Eisenberger. “We want to help extraordinary businesses like Walters expand and grow. It’s a win-win for the city and for Walters.”

Approximately 300 people attended our Open House. There was a lot of positive buzz and excitement throughout the building, especially amongst the children who were able to draw pictures on one of our Microsoft Surface Hub screens. The 3D Printer in action was a hit too!
“Hamilton is home and at the end of the day, this is a steel town and we belong here,” expressed Walter Koppelaar, CEO & Chairman. Indeed we do!
