The Mosaic Stadium recently received the Award of Excellence during the Design Council of Saskatchewan’s Design Week. Design Week is a biennial event organized by the Design Council and is an invitation to learn about different areas of design through a series of free lectures and other educational events – all of which is open to the general public.
Design Week also includes the Premier’s Awards of Excellence in Design which recognizes the great design being done in the province of Saskatchewan. Entries for this prestigious competition are displayed to the public and awards are handed out at an evening gala at the conclusion of Design Week.
A world class facility, the stadium capacity is approximately 33,000 and expandable to 40,000 seats. Our role on this project involved supply, fabrication and installation of 3,200 tons of structural steel. Walters also took on a design-assist role to ensure the workability of the stadium’s complex geometry of structure.
Congratulations to all involved!
