July 8th, 2024 – In Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Walters Group is driving progress at Algoma Steel’s EAF building by installing towering 40 ft tall dust hood modules atop the 180 ft facility. These modules are crucial for environmental control, efficiently managing smoke and heat through a sophisticated duct system to minimize environmental impacts. Utilizing a 660-ton crane for final placement, Walters Group is proud to watch the EAF building come to life and contribute to the future of sustainable steel manufacturing.
