Our Role

Walters supplied 600 tons of structural steel and installed the structural steel columns, moment frames, Comslab metal deck and Deltabeams.

The first step in this project included installing the Comslab composite floor deck system and the Deltabeam framing system. The hybrid flooring system combined deep steel decking and a concrete cover slab that was cured together and bonded structurally as one element.

The Deltabeam framing system is premanufactured and supports the Comslab decking system around the building perimeter. This combined system reduces floor-to-floor distance and overall building heights – for use in low-rise and high-rise structures.
