A retrofit project within TD Centre, 95 Wellington Street West, stands out among TD Centre’s classic black towers with its rose granite exterior. Owned by Cadillac Fairview, at 23 storeys and 330,000 sq. ft., this exceptional property provides tenants with a unique boutique atmosphere and location in Canada’s largest business community.
Our scope of work included the supply, detail, connection design, fabrication, and erection of a window washing track on the roof, and cladding support for various locations around the building. The engineering and planning involved in this project was extensive.
Multiple surveys were required to locate the existing steel within the building. The project required close coordination with various other sub-trades. The roof was accessed almost entirely by use of climbers affixed to the side of the building.
