Our Role

Walters role was to supply and install all structural steel for the Central Utility Plant (CUP) building which houses all the power, heating, generators and IT for the hospital. The three stacks with perforated panels for the CUP were lifted as one assembly. In addition, we supplied and installed the steel for the ambulance bay steel and decking.

Overcoming Challenges

The Stacks posed some challenges in how to build them, where to build them, and in how to accommodate the mechanical contractor. However, Walters was able to overcome logistical challenges through meticulous planning and coordination.
