Our Role

Dave’s Steel played a key role in the Dominion Chesterfield FGD project by supplying 2,800 tons of structural steel for the Flu Gas Desulfurization scrubber system. Our scope included stairs, handrails, decking, and grating, all finished with an SP6 surface prep and two coats of high-performance paint for durability. Given the plant’s location along the James River, much of the steel erection was executed from a barge, requiring precise coordination and expert execution to meet project demands.
