At the top of one of Manhattan’s most iconic landmarks, a raw parapet with a 360-degree view was in need of a platform and railing to give VIP guests a private space to take in once-in-a-lifetime views.
Feature Walters detailed and fabricated the structure, deck, and railings for delivery up three separate elevators, and finally by hand up a ship’s ladder before they could be installed.
Concentric FRP guardrail, stainless steel posts, and a non-slip stainless steel deck ride a ring of radial structure above a warren of drains, cables, antennae conduit, and old silver roofing membrane.
