Our Role

Walters began fabricating and delivering steel to the site in the summer of 2013 and manufactured all the structural steel, including the steel stairs for the east and west stands of the 22,500 seat fixed stadium.

Overcoming Challenges

The work was performed in a tight residential area surrounding the stadium, so noise was a concern.  Walters decided to use Tension Control bolts which generate less noise when torqueing compared to standard bolts. It was also a small site with numerous trades on site together. Careful planning and execution was instrumental with multiple trades and multiple cranes to ensure efficient and safe work.
