Our Role

Dave Steel contributed to the Woodbridge power project by supplying 1,800 tons of galvanized structural steel for this 725 MW natural gas combined cycle power plant. Our scope included stairs, handrails, decking, and grating, all finished with an SP6 surface prep surface and two coats of high-performance paint for durability. Given the plant’s location along the James River, much of the steel erection was executed from a barge,  requiring precise coordination and expert execution to meet project demands.
