Howard manages the production requirements of all Walters plants as well as Feature Walters projects. He joined Walters in 2007. In his current role, he works closely with Engineering and Project Management to determine the required processes to fabricate in the most effective and efficient way.
Howard balances the capacity and scheduling of each plant, ensuring work orders are directed to the plant that has the ideal capabilities to deliver on production needs. He focuses on working with the Plant managers and managing the production process to keep projects moving along and ultimately, getting them out the door to meet shipping dates.
Prior to joining Walters, Howard was a Plant Manager in the tool and die industry and also worked as a manufacturing engineering technologist in the automotive industry. Howard has a “get it done attitude” and loves finding solutions for complex problems. He also has a keen understanding and interest in how to best use equipment and technology to enable manufacturing processes.
