Mark joined Walters in 1996 as an estimator and then moved into a Project Manager role. Given his focused and detail-oriented nature, he excelled in project management and successfully led several major projects for Walters. Mark then went on to spearhead the development of a more formalized Project Management function for Walters.
Mark now leads a team of experienced project managers that have backgrounds in construction or steel project management. He acts as a sounding board and brings the team together to develop new processes and approaches that help drive effective execution and find efficiencies on projects.
Mark also acts in a sponsorship role on major projects. He brings experience in successfully managing all aspects of structural projects including implementation and development of schedules, job costing, estimating, monitoring of productivity, and leading cross-functional teams on key projects.
Mark is known for his hard working nature and loves a good challenge. While he is always focused on keeping projects moving according to schedule, he is also always keenly aware of his role in staying one step ahead to anticipate potential challenges and make sure that the client’s expectations are being met.
