As president of Dave Steel Company, Tim works to ensure the vision of Dave Steel as a customer-focused company is realized in all aspects of the daily operations. He aims to bring an exceptional experience to customers, and to empower each Dave Steel team member to achieve their highest potential.
Tim started his career as a design structural engineer, working on a variety of building projects, from high-rise office buildings to parking decks. Being more of a people person with a business mind, he went back to night school to earn his MBA. He then pursued a sales and management career in the steel fabrication industry. This brought him to Dave Steel Company in 1993 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
For 27 years, Tim has helped lead Dave Steel to grow in revenue and reach, expanding the client base from heavy industrial to commercial projects. Using his engineering background and sales skills, he engaged Dave Steel in a wide variety of construction projects throughout eastern United States, and into Canada. He learned how being customer-focused and being a problem solver, will lead to success for all parties involved. His goal is to instil this vision in all team members at Dave Steel Company, to provide solutions to customers’ challenges.
