Walters Celebrates Brookfield’s Crown Jewel

On June 12th, Walters welcomed Brookfield representatives Sal Bartellino, Assistant Director, Construction, and Christian Heimple, Vice President, Construction at Brookfield Property Partners, to our One Manhattan West Beam Signing event at our Hamilton, Ontario headquarters.

The steel beam we chose to be signed weighed 33,135 pounds, measured 60″L x 32″W x 8.7″H and will be installed at 998′ above ground, at level 69 of 71. Prior to making its way to our Hamilton plant, the beam travelled to our Princeton and Stoney Creek plants for employee autographs.

One Manhattan West is a mixed-use tower which when complete, will be home to Ernst & Young and the NHL, amongst many others. The tower is also a key part of the Manhattan West Development which consists of 5,400,000-square feet of mixed-use space. The development includes two large office towers and one residential tower, as well as a two acre public park that transects the site.
