Maple Leaf Foods recently announced the construction of a state-of-the-art 640,000 square-foot fresh poultry-processing facility in London, Ontario. Expected to create 1,500 jobs, the plant will represent the largest single-site investment ever in Canadian food industry history.

We are excited to share that Walter Group has been selected as the steel construction partner for the project. Our role will be to supply, fabricate, apply coatings, deliver and install the structural steel and metal roof deck for the new plant.

Installation is expected to start early 2020 with completion by Q3 2020 to be open for open for early-to-mid 2021.
