I don’t sit at a desk. Working at Walters gives me a chance to work with my hands every day fabricating and welding pieces that help build incredible projects. It feels good to drive by a building and know that I’ve contributed to it in some way.
As a loader, it is my job to pack uneven and irregular-sized steel pieces in loads to ship them to site. I love the challenge - it’s kind of like building a Jenga puzzle every day where you have to consider stability, dimension and weight issues to make sure the load gets safely to the site.
