Walters Values in Action (ViA) program includes supporting and encouraging our employees above and beyond their work duties, including their personal involvement with charities and organizations that matter deeply to them.
As part of our ViA Support Program, employees are invited to submit the names of charitable organizations with which they are actively involved and personally support. Each quarter, we select up to four of these nominated organizations and donate $500 on behalf of the employee.

Kristina is a member of the volunteer committee planning the Cancer Assistance Program’s 30th-anniversary ‘friend-raiser’ in Hamilton. Having seen family members, friends, and others close to her go through cancer, Kristina finds comfort in knowing that organizations like the Cancer Assistance Program exist. This charitable group provides free support in various ways, alleviating stress in critical areas of patients’ lives during cancer treatment.
The Cancer Assistance Program is a charitable organization that supports cancer patients in many ways. This includes providing equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers, offering rides to cancer-related appointments, arranging parking for patients attending treatment, and supplying nutritional supplements and incontinence products.
