Ryerson University Church Street Development

Ryerson University’s Church Street Development is a multifunctional hub that will house academic and administrative spaces, accommodations for students in the residential tower, retail areas and four levels of underground parking garage. The building will stand 29-storeys, including the mechanical penthouse. This will also be a future home to Ryerson’s School of Nutrition, the School of Occupational and Public Health, the Midwifery Education Program and the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing. Opening of this facility is slated for Fall 2018.

Our Role

Our scope of work is to supply and install the structural steel throughout the building, and will include quite an array between very heavy industrial type frames and other miscellaneous façade, stairs and hanger type steel. We will also be “topping off” this structure with a steel penthouse and mechanical floor.
