We are pleased to announce that Walters has been selected to supply and install 4,400 Tons of structural steel, including over 1,000 Tons of open web steel joists, and the supply and install of the metal deck for the Mattawa Plains Compound, a Canadian Forces base located in Petawawa, Ontario.

The Mattawa Plains Compound will consist of nine buildings in total on CFB Petawawa’s secure compound. These various buildings are being constructed for the highly trained armed forces personnel on site. This includes vehicle maintenance garages, workshops, warehouses and a shooting range.

Steel erection will commence in January 2018, and completion of these nine structures is slated for Spring 2019. We are honoured to be a part of a project that supports our nation’s security, and look forward to delivering excellence to our valued clients.
