From 120 submissions, the 2015 R+D Awards jury recognized nine risk-taking projects, products, and technologies in this year’s competition.
One of these projects was our very own Queen Richmond Centre West, which was awarded a citation for the architecturally exposed structural steel delta frames. These frames soar seven storeys in height to create an elegant atrium space, and help to elevate this eleven-story office building 80 feet above Toronto’s historic downtown.
