On June 5, the CISC Ontario Region’s ‘Courses’ between ‘Courses’ Dinner Cruise took place. During this event, the Ontario Erectors Association’s (OEA) sponsored scholarships were presented and awarded to three deserving students. The sponsorships included one $20,000 scholarship and two $5,000 scholarships.
Recipients of the scholarships were Daniel Stevens of McMaster University, Matthew Sjaarda of the University of Waterloo, and Michelle Parratt of the University of Toronto.
The awards were presented by Jack Mesley, President of the Ontario Erector’s Association and Patricia Penney-Rouzes, CISC Ontario Regional Manager. Walter Koppelaar, President of Walters Group as well as Chairman of the CISC Ontario Education Committee & OEA Board Member, was also one of the presenters.
The CISC Ontario Region, in conjunction with the OEA, is extremely proud of these students for their wonderful academic achievements.
