During Mohawk College’s Spring convocation ceremony, Walter Koppelaar, President of Walters Group, was appointed as a Distinguished Fellow for his contributions to Mohawk College’s faculty, students and staff. The honorary award acknowledges and supports the importance of collaboration between Walters Group and the college.
Selected by the Chair, President or designated member of the Board of Governors, the Distinguished Fellow title is bestowed to individuals who make invaluable contributions to the College in significant ways, including academic advisement and student engagement, community outreach, and strategic advisement to Mohawk’s senior leadership team. Through outstanding professional achievement, and expert status within his profession and proven business acumen, Walters Group is extremely proud to have Walter Koppelaar selected for this highly respected honour.
Walter was also the ceremony guest speaker and delivered the convocation address to 350 graduating students.
