Yasser is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and British Columbia. He is also a certified Welding Engineer and Welding Inspector with the CWB per CSA W47.1 and CSA W178.2 respectively. With substantial experience in project management, fabrication, connections, inspection, and welding design, Yasser empowers his team by providing strong support to realize their full potential and develop the skills necessary to finding optimum solutions to daily tasks as well as using challenges as opportunities for improvement and prevention. Additionally, he volunteers his personal time mentoring youth on life skills and core values.
Yasser joined Walters Group as the Quality Assurance Manager and Welding Engineer in 2015 and is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance department while overseeing welding, fabrication, and inspection at Walters plants. He continues to facilitate impactful improvements on efficiency and ensures exceptional quality standards in his role.
